Hellouh folks!

some of you might already have noticed that Yomgui, our "Mr MAC Man" is now member of the NE Team as effect on his very welcome efforts to make NE finally available for MAC users and of course, his consent to join/help.

This, however, would've been completely unnecessary and retarted if there wouldn't be anything that requires active members, right?

I just had a little chat with Alexastor (the project leader, some of you might remember) and it seems we're gonna have some kind of final stretch, a final and official version of Napoleonic Era, which will not include Persians and Incas, but have optimized gameplay and (hopefully) no serious bugs.

However, if anyone is up for doing Persians and Incas, don't hesitate to get in contact with us.
I might ask Alex next time what kind of plans we had in view of these two civs. So most probably we just let you guys .. brainstorm on it.

So that's it mainly. See that as piece of information and don't expect fast actions! You know, Mr K-X-Alexastor is still busy with his Abitur, Matthew most probably back at College and I'm still on hunting the first TAA release. Cheers.

It would be the people have spoken, we did not want this mod to die. So it continues, and perhaps it will be one to remember for AOE 3. It is good to see we still have an active community with hope and patience. This is very nice to hear. To Yomgui, I say congratulations on becoming part of the team, and thanks to the original team for still being there for us. I hope when you go towards your final official version that is reaches many known fan sites with excitement and interest, and of course that knowledge of the mod is spread. Ah yes I can't wait to see what is in store, all sounds good.

Edit: Aye, if I remember correct, the mod is even featured in a mod loader.

Poland has had their resource bug fixed, that slowes them down quite good. I havn't tried Yomguis poland yet, but I heard that hunting is allowed from start now, which I don't think should be the case.
